Hydrostatic units for outstanding levels of efficiency
The core element of continuously variable power-split MALI transmissions is a two-stage planetary transmission complemented by highly efficient, wide-angle hydrostatic units. This combination of MALI hydrostatic and mechanical components permits shiftless operation and maximises efficiency and effectiveness.
With a wide swivel angles of +/- 45 degrees and volumes of 325 cm3 and 422 cm3, MALI wide-angle hydrostatic units maximise efficiency and the scope for design and configuration to suit specific requirements. Consistently high levels of efficiency of up to 90% are attained at maximum tractive force – with lasting benefits in terms of reduced fuel consumption.
Regardless of whether they are operating at the upper limit of their speed range of up to 100 km/h or at speeds as low as 0.02 km/h, MALI transmissions with hydrostatic power-split technology maximise tractive force and efficiency.
